Description
Dry falls and the channeled Scablands were made by out bursts floods associated with periods of glaciation forming lake Missoula in Montana, blocking the Clark fork river. The lake was 2,500 feet deep and 200 miles long. The ice dam suddenly let loose carving out the scablands we see today. This may have happened over100 times over thousands of years. Dry falls plunge wall is 4 miles wide and is higher then Niagara falls. HWY 2 west of Spokane, Washington.
