Dam reservoir. Water flooding the valley behind a dam. The water is at a low level, exposing several metres of bare rock on the side of the mountains. This is the Lac d'Emosson, at Finhaut, in Valais, Switzerland. It has formed behind the fifth highest dam in Switzerland, raised in height in 1974 from an earlier dam.
