Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The Koolau mountain range forms the backdrop for this 32 acre lake in Hoolanluhia Botanical Garden located in Kaneohe on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The lake and garden was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide a form of flood protection for Kaneohe which had suffered serious flooding and loss of life earlier.
Michael has had a fascination with photography since childhood, however, later in life it has become a more important aspect of his life. He sees photography as a means to bring the beauty of creation to other people. Life is too valuable and precious to him to just let it pass by. Michael and his wife, Suzanne live in Northern Michigan in a log home on their flower and berry farm. Much of his wildlife photography comes off the farm or location close by it.
